Job Position

Key Responsibilities

In the Senior Software Engineer role, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing new features across the stack, handling data design, backend APIs, and frontend UI with React, as well as mobile and HTML/CSS development.

• Engaging with external integrations and third-party services, focusing on ensuring their reliability and observability.

• Supporting system scalability as Mangomint grows and acquires new customers, while improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes to enable rapid development.

• Troubleshooting and debugging production issues across various services to maintain a stable system for customers.

Technologies and Skills Required

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role.

• Experience in a Senior Software Engineer capacity at a SaaS Company, proficient in programming languages like Kotlin, C#, Java, or Ruby.

• A generalist attitude, comfortable working across both frontend and backend aspects of development.

• Proven experience in building software systems that balance simplicity, flexibility, and maintainability.

• The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with teammates and stakeholders.

  

• Competency in completing projects from start to finish while managing technical, business, and customer priorities.

Preferred Technologies:

• Backend/REST API technologies: Kotlin/JVM, PostgreSQL, AWS (including RDS, SQS, Lambda, EC2/EB).

• Frontend technologies: TypeScript, React, and CSS/SASS.
