  • Analyzing user data: Conduct analysis through reviewing heat maps, user research, screen recordings, and usability testing to inform design decisions and improvements.

  • Maintaining the design system: Take ownership of the site’s design system within Figma, ensuring consistency and functionality in all designs.

  • Creating UI mockups and prototypes: Develop high-fidelity UI mockups and interactive prototypes to showcase new features during launch campaigns and for stakeholder reviews.

  • Interpreting feedback effectively: Efficiently interpret user feedback, allowing for quick iterations and delivery of polished final assets.

  • Technical storytelling: Exhibit the ability to distill complex concepts (like vector tiles and geocoding) into engaging and easily understandable web content.

Required Skills and Experience

To be considered for this senior position, candidates must demonstrate a robust set of skills and a strong portfolio:

  • Five or more years of experience in UX/UI design with a senior perspective that prioritizes user experience and functional logic over mere aesthetics.

  • Proficiency in Figma: Possess advanced skills in Figma, including knowledge of auto layout, components, and design systems, to support the development team's implementation of designs.
