Mediacurrent is seeking a freelance Senior Visual Designer who embraces a product-focused approach to contribute to their web and digital experiences. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Visual Designer is expected to:

• Lead the visual design process from concept to delivery, ensuring that each stage aligns with the product goals.
• Create moodboards, explore looks and feels, and establish early visual directions to guide the design process.
• Collaborate with Strategy and UX teams to translate ideas into structured and usable experiences tailored to user needs.
• Apply visual systems effectively to wireframes and user flows, creating designs that are modular and scalable.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and constraints, ensuring the final output meets both aesthetic and functional criteria.
• Prepare developer-ready files using Figma to ensure a smooth handoff to development teams.
• Support Webflow builds or facilitate a handoff to developers, particularly bringing knowledge of the Webflow platform, although this is considered a bonus skill.
• Present work in both internal meetings and client-facing scenarios, clearly articulating design ideas and the rationale behind them.

Required Skills

Candidates should have a strong ability in product-focused visual design. The specific skills required include:

• Advanced Figma capabilities, including experience with components, variants, auto layout, and libraries, which are essential for effective workflows.
• A solid understanding of design systems and modular design.
