Job Description and Responsibilities

As a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Engineer at Motorola Solutions, your primary responsibilities include:

• Leading the assessment and analysis of cybersecurity documentation for client information systems based on NIST CSF, NIST 800-53r5, and ISO 27001 standards.
• Identifying and applying suitable vulnerability remediation strategies and fix procedures.
• Mitigating cybersecurity risks through structured assessments and discussions regarding compliance frameworks and security control requirements.
• Working directly with clients to clarify security issues and advise them on how to best comply with applicable standards and frameworks.
• Participating in weekly project meetings to provide accurate updates regarding project status and performance.
• Creating and presenting technical presentations to both customers and internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates applying for this role must meet the following requirements:

• A High School diploma, a Bachelor's Degree, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, or related technology fields.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining an active SECRET Security Clearance.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25-50% of the time for client engagements.
• Preferred: At least 2 technical certifications relating to cybersecurity or engineering.

Salary and Benefits

Motorola Solutions is offering a target base salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 USD for this role. The salary can vary, depending on the candidate's individual knowledge, skills, and experience level.
