Job Position: Social Media Associate

As a Social Media Associate, you will have a pivotal role in supporting the execution of Minute Media's editorial vision. This entails creating engaging captions for articles to drive traffic, identifying high-performing articles using Google Analytics, and strategizing optimal posting locations for these articles. You will be in constant communication with the editorial team to post trending articles as soon as they become available. Moreover, this position includes responsibilities such as reporting social performance data to management and researching and databasing influencer pages.

Responsibilities

Below are the primary tasks that you will engage in as a Social Media Associate:

• Distribute content from Minute Media brands across various social media platforms.

• Maintain constant communication with the FanSided Editorial Team and other Social Media Associates to ensure timely distribution of trending articles.

• Utilize Google Analytics and Facebook Insights to gather and report data to management.

• Research and database community-specific and hyperlocal sports influencers to enhance content outreach.

• Proactively discover and distribute posts throughout the FanSided network.

• Create engaging visuals for social media distribution.

Hours and Availability

The expected work hours for this part-time position are approximately 25 hours per week. You should be available during evenings and weekends, specifically:

• Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST

• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST (may extend later)

• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

Preferred additional availability includes:

• Tuesday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST.

Compensation

The expected pay range for the Social Media Associate role is between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour. The actual payment will depend on your skills, experience, and location.
