Maintain the security posture of Telent's infrastructure using centralized authentication solutions such as ISE, along with Cisco Umbrella and FTD/ASA firewalls to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Perform ongoing Business-as-Usual (BAU) activities like managing software updates and overseeing certificate operations.
Utilize monitoring platforms such as Cisco ThousandEyes and Catalyst Centre to ensure optimal functionality of network systems.
Manage vendor contracts and third-party relationships essential for supportive operations within the organization.
Contribute to the delivery of security architectures and strategies that align with broader enterprise and IS/IT architecture initiatives.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, delivering proof-of-value environments that align with organizational projects.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation, ensuring the network's resilience and operational continuity.
To qualify for this position, candidates should demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
A CCNP Security or CCNP Enterprise Infrastructure certification is required, showcasing expertise in cornerstone network technologies and security provisions.
Proven experience working with enterprise security technologies, including centralized authentication (ISE), VPNs, and firewall management including certificate operations.
