Automation & Scripting: Utilize JCL, REXX, and other scripting tools to automate critical tasks such as backups and updates, improving overall efficiency in operations.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert support in diagnosing and solving PANVALET-related issues, including resolving library errors and access challenges.
Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, migrations, and workflow customizations, while partnering with other teams to align version control operations with the broader engineering goals.
To excel in this role, candidates are expected to have the following key skills:
Extensive experience in CA PANVALET administration and its customization.
Proficiency in z/OS, TSO/ISPF, REXX, JCL, and PANEL development.
Previous experience in migrating legacy SCM tools such as SCLM, Endevor, or Changeman.
Solid skills in scripting and automation are essential for this role.
A thorough understanding of versioning, access control measures, and SCM governance is necessary.
