Pre-Sales Services Consultant (Engagement Services Manager) is the position being offered.
In this role, as the Engagement Services Manager (ESM), you will be responsible for articulating and effectively representing Samsara's implementation and integration services. You will engage in business development, ensuring that the value of services is clearly defined in partnership with C-level executives and while addressing business needs that align with their expectations.
Articulate and sell the value of Samsara Services for enterprise customers.
Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Sales Engineers to incorporate service solutions into comprehensive proposals for prospective customers.
Own the services pursuits and monitor the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from pipeline forecasts.
Plan and manage activities related to service scoping, preparing proposals, and coordinating resource plans.
Act as a reliable advisor for customers during product deployment and help manage expectations with critical issues.
Participate in virtual teams focused on building out Samsara’s service methodologies and collateral, while also championing its cultural principles.
To be successful in this role, candidates are expected to have the following qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Professional Services or Technology Solutions.
Proven ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with sales teams, customer success managers, and other partners during service implementation.
Strong presentation skills for showcasing the value and capabilities of service solutions.
Innovative skills for developing services templates and engaging processes for effective service delivery.
Proficient in executing Statements of Work (SOW) and experience in producing effective proposals.
Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) or equivalent is required.
Specific skills in creating Salesforce reports and navigating within the platform.
