Job Position: Premium Auditor

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Handling premium audits for dedicated AAD customers.

  • Scheduling to maximize use of time effectively.
  • Corresponding with insured parties through various channels (phone, email, and mail) to set up audit appointments.
  • Examining policyholder records, gathering data for the correct classification of business activities, and writing effective operation descriptions.
  • Preparing complete audit documentation following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and client requirements, and explaining audit results to insured parties.
  • Meeting minimum billable requirements for the audits conducted.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of premium auditing experience, with physical auditing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with auditing Workers' Compensation (WC), General Liability (GL), and Guaranteed Cost Adjustment Rate Loss (GARL) policies.
  • Strong skills in analyzing and interpreting financial documents.
  • Moderate proficiency in Excel, including experience with pivot tables, formulas, and data formatting.
  • The capability to handle larger, more complex audits involving multiple record systems and file formats, and proficient communication with agents, brokers, and senior-level employees.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow strict scheduling protocols.
  • Experience handling WC audits in designated testing states like California, Pennsylvania, Delaware, or New York is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting is preferred; however, relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or commercial insurance will be accepted in lieu of a college degree.

  • An hourly pay range of $26.44 to $31.25 (depending on experience), with opportunities for quarterly production bonuses.
