Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The PriceFX Developer will have a variety of key responsibilities, which include:

• Developing and maintaining custom solutions on the Pricefx platform using Java and Groovy.
• Configuring Pricefx modules such as QuoteConfigurator, PromotionManager, and RebateManager to meet specific business needs.
• Designing and implementing Calculation Logic Extensions, which involve developing cleansers, calculations, and workflows aligned with pricing strategies.
• Integrating the Pricefx platform with various enterprise systems like ERP and CRM applications through APIs.
• Collaborating closely with functional consultants and pricing analysts to accurately define and understand project requirements.
• Conducting technical testing, debugging, and issue resolution to ensure functionality and performance of the developed solutions.
• Ensuring high code quality through thorough reviews, documentation, and adherence to best coding practices.

Required Skills and Experience

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a solid foundation in development, specifically:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience developing solutions on the Pricefx platform.
• Proficiency in Java and Groovy programming languages.
• A deep understanding of the Pricefx data model and the Calculation Designer tool.
• Experience with REST APIs, data integrations, and scripting functionalities.
• Familiarity with essential Pricefx tools including Data Sources, Data Loaders, and Dashboards.
• Strong debugging skills along with adept problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

While the required skills are essential, the following qualifications are preferred but not mandatory:

• Pricefx certification(s), such as a Certified Pricefx Developer.
• Experience within the pricing domain, specifically B2B or B2C contexts regarding promotions and rebates.
• Understanding of how systems like SAP or Salesforce interact with Pricefx.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control practices.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies or environments.
