Responsibilities

As a Principal Engineer, the responsibilities are focused on assessing and validating designs in accordance with compliance requirements, and actively mitigating design risks. The role will require the candidate to:

  • Provide guidance on engineering methods and processes to achieve the engineering delivery plan.
  • Develop and instruct on engineering processes to ensure consistent technical quality.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Delivery Team, which includes team members at various skill levels (SQEP), to create and refine technical solutions while nurturing team members' development.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Centralised C&I Governance Team, which is integral to the development of processes and procedures while ensuring compliance for the next generation of Nuclear Attack Submarines. Required Skills
