Responsibilities

In this role, the Principal Engineer will be involved in multiple areas within the C&I governance team, focusing on the following key responsibilities:

  • Generating and ensuring consistency within the requirement set for 12 major C&I systems, which include Distributed Control Systems, Control Console, and Vehicle Control Systems.

  • Supporting the overall design for various C&I sub-systems that encompass secondary propulsion, platform mechanical, and platform electrical systems.

  • Managing various stakeholders to maintain consistency across the Centralised C&I team.

  • Supporting the development of a functional design for the systems within the defined scope.

  • Assessing design compliance against requirements and mitigating design risk as much as practicable.

  • Providing guidance on engineering methods and processes to ensure consistent technical excellence.

  • Collaborating with different team members in the Engineering Delivery Team to develop efficient technical solutions while also nurturing their development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
