  • Proven knowledge of safety management processes and techniques.
  • Experience in multiple phases of the Engineering Lifecycle, enabling a comprehensive understanding of design principles and through-life engineering issues.
  • Familiarity with customer defense standards, including DSA-02, JSP430, Def Stan 00-56, MilStn 882E, and BS EN 61508.
  • An understanding of Safety Management Systems.
  • Experience in writing technical documentation at an advanced level.
  • Previous experience in Product Safety within Software Systems is considered advantageous.
  • A background in engineering or related STEM subjects is essential, alongside any specific academic or professional qualifications.
  • Preferably, candidates should be recognized as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through a recognized institution.
