As a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Kubernetes, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating on the roadmap for critical enterprise features for a public managed Kubernetes platform.
Creating and integrating cloud-native technologies and architectural approaches to enhance platform capabilities.
Understanding industry differentiators and utilizing design thinking to analyze systems and develop solutions from initial idea to release.
Enabling a simple and seamless process for customers to deploy and operate their Kubernetes clusters efficiently.
Working alongside engineering teams in an Agile environment to sustain a robust product portfolio.
Contributing to a culture that promotes innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
12+ years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Deep experience in building Kubernetes Platform Clusters at scale as well as familiarity with Cloud Native technologies.
Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes concepts including Operator creation, Cluster API, and Container Network Interfaces.
Proficiency in working with Container Runtimes such as Docker and containerd.
Demonstrated experience with programming in Linux, Go, and Python.
Awareness of software development practices including Agile methodologies and product life cycles encompassing build, test, deploy, and iterative environments.
