Role of Product Manager for Aera App

Gauntlet is seeking a Product Manager for its Aera App. This role involves designing, prototyping, and specifying digital solutions aimed at overcoming the most complex challenges faced by DeFi protocols today. This requires collaboration with other product managers to identify and solve relevant problems, understanding user needs through communication, and working alongside engineers and data scientists to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

The role demands a passion for utilizing data accumulated from various protocols across DeFi to unlock value for Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), community members, and the protocol team.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Product Manager include guiding features from conception to launch by bridging the technical and business realms, supporting product strategy development, planning product roadmaps, and overseeing product launches from ideation to execution. A customer-first approach is mandatory, with a deep understanding of target customers to tailor solutions effectively. The role also requires partnering with design to ship impactful features for the Aera App, collaborating closely with engineering to translate user needs into tangible features and financial strategies, managing customer relationships, and refining success metrics.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include over a year of experience in product management, design, or a related technical role with a proven track record of successfully launching technical software products in the crypto or DeFi space. A robust understanding of DeFi applications, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external stakeholders, and proven capability in owning and developing a product domain strategy and roadmap are also necessary. Familiarity with financial concepts is advantageous.

Compensation

The national salary range for this position is $140,000 to $165,000, with additional On Target Earnings potential varying by level with equity options. Individual compensation is determined based on experience, local cost of labor, qualifications, and maintaining internal equity.
