To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Knowledge of safety management processes and techniques is essential.
Experience working across more than one phase of the Engineering Lifecycle, combined with a solid understanding of design principles and through-life engineering issues.
Familiarity with customer defense standards including DSA-02, JSP430, Def Stan 00-56, MilStn 882E, and BS EN 61508.
Experience in writing detailed technical documentation at an advanced level is necessary.
Experience in Product Safety within Software Systems is advantageous and may strengthen your application.
A relevant academic qualification in Engineering or related STEM subjects is required. Candidates should be recognized as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through appropriate recognized professional institutions.
