Owning the product backlog and ensuring completion by the agreed deadlines.
Facilitating open and transparent communication with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) to tackle issues effectively and remove project blockers.
Organizing and leading the ADO efficiently to ensure the success of the HQR program, which is significant for maintaining the health of public services.
Delivering a Program Management Review (PMR) after each program increment, highlighting wins, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement.
Providing well-trained staff to meet evolving program needs.
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a robust set of professional skills and experiences, including:
Leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
A deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
Experience in managing government contracts and familiarity with working within CMS IT environments.
The ability to analyze complex data, manage program budgets, and optimize workflows is essential for this role.
Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SAFe Program Portfolio Management tools is a must.
Candidates should possess either a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Practical experience managing large-scale software development programs and leading SAFe Agile transformations in government healthcare IT or CMS-related projects is preferred.
