Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role span across various marketing operations and strategic initiatives:

1. Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor a small marketing team of 1-2 professionals.

  • Foster high performance through clear processes and accountability.

2. Agency & Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, ensuring expectations and deliverables are clearly defined.
  • Evaluate agency performance and coordinate efforts for seamless execution while managing budgets effectively.

3. HubSpot Administration & Marketing Automation

  • Serve as the primary administrator for HubSpot, optimizing workflows and managing lead scoring and reporting infrastructure.
  • Maintain data hygiene and create performance dashboards.

4. Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute participation in industry events to maximize exposure and engagement, including booth design and promotional materials.
  • Execute post-event follow-up and performance analysis.

5. Marketing Operations & Project Management

  • Conduct weekly marketing meetings to set priorities and ensure accountability across initiatives.
  • Oversee marketing roadmap execution aligned with business objectives.

6. Go-To-Market Execution

  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches and campaigns, developing messaging that resonates with target audiences.

7. Website & Content Optimization

  • Ensure the marketing website is optimized for conversions, collaborating with SEO partners for improved rankings.

8. Campaign Management & Lead Generation

  • Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns, nurturing leads through automated workflows and improving return on investment.

9. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor key metrics and use tools like Google Analytics to inform ongoing strategy and improve performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

This position requires a unique blend of qualifications:

  • Team Leadership: At least 2 years of experience managing a marketing team.
  • Agency Management: Proven track record managing multiple external agencies.
  • HubSpot Expertise: At least a year of experience with HubSpot, including marketing automation.
  • Marketing Experience: Minimum of 5 years in relevant marketing roles, preferably in B2B SaaS or martech.
