Job Overview

The organization seeks to fill the role of Design Verification Team Leader. Key Responsibilities

The Design Verification Team Lead will be involved in numerous managerial and technical tasks including:

Team Management: The lead will oversee and mentor a team of verification engineers, ensuring effective distribution and oversight of daily tasks while monitoring long- and short-term technical and career objectives.
Verification Planning: Development and implementation of comprehensive verification plans and strategies tailored to achieve quality and efficiency in their operations.
Execution: Overseeing the execution of verification tasks, which range from functional verification to formal verification methodologies.
Communication: Acting as a liaison with customers by providing them with progress reports and metrics during weekly calls and face-to-face meetings.
Collaboration: Working in tandem with design and micro-architecture teams to gain insights into functional and performance specifications.
Quality Assurance: Guaranteeing that the verification coverage is robust and adheres to industry standards, as well as ensuring adherence to company policies and practices.
Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving verification-related issues while providing technical insights and support.
Documentation: Keeping track of detailed documentation regarding all verification processes, results, and methodologies employed.

Qualifications and Experience Required

For potential candidates, the following qualifications and skills are deemed necessary:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar related field is mandatory, with a Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Candidates should ideally exhibit extensive experience in design verification and have taken on team leadership or project leadership roles in previous jobs.
Skills: Proficiency in verification languages, particularly SystemVerilog and UVM, is crucial.
