The ideal candidate for this position should possess a blend of both technical skills and personal attributes. Key qualifications include:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Over 5 years of experience with WAF technologies such as Akamai Kona, Azure App Gateway, or Cloudflare.
At least 7 years of experience using DAST tools like Burp Suite and enterprise scanning platforms.
Proficiency in applications, databases, web services, and the ability to utilize scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and customization tasks.
A deep understanding of OWASP Top Ten threats and vulnerabilities, with proven experience diagnosing complex issues and proposing strategies for resolution.
