Job Responsibilities

The Search Engine Marketing Manager will have several key responsibilities, which include:

  • Conduct tests on best practices in SEM, like portfolio expansions, traffic curation, and ad copy testing.

  • Evaluate test results using Excel and statistical significance calculators to determine success metrics.

  • Prepare and communicate performance metrics of completed projects to team members and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned on outcomes and strategies.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and changes in the search ecosystem to ensure the company remains at the forefront of search marketing.

  • Collaborate with internal analytics and technical teams to enhance performance metrics and inspire the next generation of portfolio management tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess specific skills and experiences, including:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with Google Adwords and Bing Ads, managing high-caliber keyword portfolios, specifically those with high 6 to 7 figure monthly budgets.

  • A deep understanding of automated search bidding strategies, particularly types like tCPA (target Cost Per Action) and tROAS (target Return on Ad Spend).

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to transform trends into actionable insights and hypotheses.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must, which should include capabilities like using VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

  • Proficiency in SQL is considered a strong plus.

  • A degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for the Search Engine Marketing Manager position ranges from $89,000 to $150,000 annually. Additionally, the offer may include bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package that provides:
