Job Overview

The position available is for a Seasonal Blitz Recruiter with the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. This is a part-time contract role that runs from March 24 to May 31, 2025. Responsibilities

The Seasonal Blitz Recruiter will have various responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Executing membership recruitment strategies for girl and adult lead generation.
  • Conducting presentations at schools, community centers, and similar venues to explain the benefits of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
  • Assisting with the registration process for new members and ensuring area representation of diverse populations.
  • Performing administrative tasks to facilitate recruitment events, making the recruiting process smooth and efficient.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve membership goals, demonstrating effective communication and customer service abilities.
  • Communicating the impact and relevance of the Girl Scouts both locally and nationally.

Availability

The role is expected to provide a weekly average of 12 to 20 hours. Availability during weekdays must accommodate time slots from 10 AM to 2 PM and 5 PM to 8 PM, as well as on Saturdays from 11 AM to 3 PM.

Desired Qualifications

The candidate is required to have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in recruitment, direct sales, or roles similar in nature is preferred, alongside the completion of in-person paid training conducted by GSWCF. Experience specifically with Girl Scouts is also considered an asset. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for this role.
