Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Application Architect, your responsibilities will mainly include:

• Supporting development teams in designing and developing software products, ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Engaging with clients to gather requirements—this may involve hands-on contributions to help teams deliver effectively.

• Working on a diverse array of technologies, from cloud server-less to legacy modernization, allowing for a wide breadth of experience.

• Leading the adoption of standard enterprise architecture and technology stacks to mitigate risks associated with unsupported technologies.

• Identifying, designing, and developing technical assets and components that can be used across various products.

• Collaborating closely with the Engineering team to synchronize enterprise architecture with a continuous delivery and deployment Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Providing guidance and training to development squads, ensuring knowledge transfer among team members.

• Engaging in research and prototyping of innovative technologies while effectively communicating ideas both verbally and through documentation.

• Participating in formulating the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates applying for this role are expected to possess a robust skill set that includes:

• Professional proficiency in English.

• A depth of experience, ideally 6 to 8 years, at an expert level in programming languages such as JAVA or C#, typically having a background as a Senior Developer or Tech Lead.

• Expertise in creating large-scale web applications leveraging principles like Domain Driven Design, Microservices, API First, and Event Driven architecture patterns.

• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL, or MongoDB.

  

• Understanding application security measures, including authentication and authorization frameworks like OAuth and OpenID Connect.

• Knowledge of DevOps, along with Continuous Delivery/Deployment methodologies, inclusive of tools like Helm, Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

• Proficiency in testing practices, including Consumer Driven Design, TDD, BDD, and Automated Testing.

• Expertise in interfacing with data access layers for SQL and NoSQL systems including Queueing and Caching.
