Role Responsibilities
The designated Senior Business Development Director will have comprehensive responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Managing the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
Identifying and pursuing high-value business opportunities.
Developing compelling sales narratives that position the Cycloid platform as essential to customer success.
Cultivating relationships with C-level executives and other stakeholders to build credibility and foster trust.
Collaborating with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technical staff to gather insights on customer needs and product feedback.
Analyzing market trends and competitive offers to keep the company’s understanding of the market sharp and relevant.
Maintaining clear reporting through HubSpot to manage sales activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must possess specific skills and experience:
10+ years of experience selling complex B2B SaaS solutions, particularly within the UKI market.
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding robust sales quotas year-on-year, ideally with experience closing deals in the US market as well.
A demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, typically ranging from 6 to 12 months, and close enterprise deals averaging €250K+ in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
Understanding of modern infrastructure and platform technologies, including the ability to navigate sales conversations involving developer tools and cloud management platforms.
Comfort and motivation in working within a fast-moving international team environment, with a strong aptitude for working alongside various stakeholders.
