Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will focus on channel development and take charge of driving outbound partner development as well as executing Go to Market (GTM) strategies. Your primary objective will be to foster revenue growth by tapping into strategic partnerships that include technology partners, consultants, and infrastructure resellers. You will work closely with multiple teams including Solutions Engineering, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations while reporting to the Head of Solutions & Channel Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel GTM & Partner Development: You will be tasked with sourcing, closing, and enhancing strategic channel partnerships that generate partner-sourced or influenced revenue. You must be able to create effective business cases and successfully navigate internal alignments to ensure swift deal progression.

  • Partner Strategy & Execution: It will be crucial for you to maintain a structured partner pipeline and reporting system using tools like Salesforce, Notion, and Gong. Your role will also involve engaging partners with tailored messaging and presentations to maximize their potential.

  • Enablement & Repeatability: Codifying scalable playbooks and onboarding processes across various partner segments will be vital. Gathering structured feedback from partners will inform internal decisions regarding product, marketing, and enablement efforts.

  • Revenue & Forecasting: You will need to maintain a forecast accuracy of over 90% across active partnerships. Identifying risks and potential blockers will also be essential for the smooth execution of partnership initiatives. Collaborating with Revenue Operations will improve the visibility of partner impacts.

Required Skills

To be successful in this position, candidates should possess the following:

  • Experience: Candidates need to have a minimum of 5-7 years in Business Development, focusing on strategic partnerships or GTM roles. Exposure to Web3, fintech, or enterprise SaaS environments is ideal.


  • Revenue Generation: Proven ability to close and manage channel partnerships that yield measurable revenue outcomes, with a history of driving $1M+ in partner-sourced ARR.

  • Sales Proficiency: A strong background in outbound sales activities, including pipeline building, discovery, and stakeholder engagement is critical.

  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Gong, and Notion is necessary for effectively managing the processes involved in partnership strategies.

  • Organizational Skills: Candidates should be highly organized and capable of thriving in fast-paced situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The total targeted compensation for the Senior Business Development Manager position ranges from $166,500 to $185,000 per year.
