Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Revenue Growth The Senior Client Manager will take ownership of a portfolio comprising high-value clients. This includes carrying the largest individual retention and growth target in the team. Responsibilities in this category include:

  • Proactively developing and executing strategies for account growth, including upselling, cross-selling, and expanding contracts.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders within assigned accounts, which involves building long-term, trusted relationships.
  • Monitoring client health, engagement levels, and satisfaction to ensure high renewal rates while minimizing churn risks.
  • Leading negotiations and renewing processes to secure positive outcomes for both the clients and IMSM.

Senior Team Contribution Part of this role involves mentoring and coaching colleagues by:

  • Sharing best practices and assisting with complicated client challenges.
  • Providing input during deal structuring to ensure desired outcomes.
  • Leading by example in terms of client engagement, revenue delivery, and maintaining professional standards.

Operational Excellence The Senior Client Manager must ensure that there is accurate utilization of CRM systems, maintaining visibility and detailed tracking of pipeline, forecasts, and client performance. This includes:

  • Providing insights regarding account performance, client trends, and identifying revenue opportunities for leadership.
  • Contributing towards the ongoing development of account management processes and frameworks of best practices.

Collaboration Collaboration with various internal teams is vital to ensure that client requirements are fulfilled comprehensively. This entails:

  • Working closely with Product, Operations, and Service Delivery teams.

  • Collaborating with New Business Sales colleagues to ensure a smooth transition of newly acquired clients into account management.

  • Significant experience in account/client management, particularly in the Governance, Risk & Compliance sector or in broader consulting industries.
  • A proven track record in managing and growing high-value client portfolios successfully.
