This role involves writing and editing an array of content types, including landing pages, blogs, white papers, and social media posts. The copy created must maintain brand consistency and align with campaign objectives. Collaboration with the marketing team is key, especially for analyzing campaign performance, conducting A/B tests on copy, and refining messaging continually to maximize effectiveness.
Apart from collaborating with fellow marketers, the Senior Copywriter will partner with designers, product marketers, and strategists to produce cohesive and impactful campaigns. Ensuring that our unique brand tone and personality are reflected in all our copy is paramount. This includes prioritizing clarity and simplicity to make content easily understandable while balancing it with delightfulness and a strategic use of humor.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field and have over six years of experience in copywriting, particularly focusing on product, lifecycle, and paid marketing. An ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that resonates with target audiences is essential.
A strong understanding of product lifecycle marketing and the capacity to craft compelling messaging throughout each stage is also required. The candidate should have experience working within cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, and the capacity to meet deadlines.
Moreover, proficiency in content management systems and marketing automation tools is crucial. Preferred qualifications include experience in industries such as Finance, HR, Payroll, or other relevant B2B sectors, as well as experience with A/B testing and data-driven copy optimization. A portfolio illustrating successful product marketing campaigns would be advantageous.
