Building demand forecasting models and clean analytical data models to empower various teams within the organization.
Collaborating in a Scrum agile environment and partnering with data scientists and business analysts to optimize data processing infrastructure.
Keeping Juul Labs at the forefront of data technology by utilizing their extensive data stack, including Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Storage, etc.), Airflow, and DBT.
To qualify for the Senior Data Engineer position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering or software engineering with a focus on data.
Significant experience in driving engineering solutions independently.
Advanced knowledge of developing using Python for processing large-scale datasets.
Proficient in leveraging libraries such as Pandas and PyArrow in conjunction with tools from the Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with AI pipelines and orchestration tools like Airflow is preferred.
Skilled in analytical SQL, which is critical for data modeling, transformations, and handling various data formats.
Expertise in deploying and maintaining machine learning pipelines is a plus.
Candidates are preferably expected to hold a master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or possess equivalent experience.

Tier 2 Locations (Greater Boston, Washington DC, etc.): $147,000 - $184,000
Tier 3 Locations (Various locations across the US): $138,000 - $173,000
Tier 4 Locations (Rest of US, including Alaska and Puerto Rico): $133,000 - $166,000
