Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle, which includes:

• Building and improving security-focused ML models for GenAI traffic.
• Defining security problems, creating and labeling datasets, and engineering features.
• Training models and deploying them into production after evaluating their quality.
• Designing realistic evaluation suites that include various edge cases such as adversarial examples and multi-turn workflows.
• Enhancing model precision, recall, and operational reliability while managing costs.
• Establishing repeatable MLOps workflows that enhance model performance and management.
• Collaborating with multiple teams to integrate ML models into real production workflows.
• Translating security objectives into quantifiable model outcomes, bridging gaps between capabilities and operational requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates for the Senior Machine Learning Engineer position need to fulfill the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying production ML models.
• Proficiency in using prominent ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Thorough understanding of the complete ML lifecycle from problem definition to deployment.
• Strong background in building data pipelines capable of handling large-scale datasets.
• Proven experience with model evaluations, including metrics like precision, recall, and tuning methodologies.
• Familiarity with software development processes; experience in Python and/or Go is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position lies between $216,700 and $303,400 USD, adjusted based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and specific qualifications.
