Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a regional reimbursement expert, applying influence mapping to promote Gilead's products and processes effectively.
  • Assist in internal patient support to improve hub and FRM processes, which includes streamlining benefit verification and educating about prior authorizations.
  • Facilitate enrollment processes for providers to register patients in Gilead’s support programs.
  • Keep in close contact with internal stakeholders, including Therapeutic Specialists, to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of field operations concerning reimbursement processes.
  • Communicate account-specific changes in reimbursement processes swiftly to ensure continuous support for HCPs and patients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to devise instructional materials that can aid in educating providers and office staff regarding best reimbursement practices.

Required Skills and Experience

Basic Qualifications include:



  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years’ experience in relevant sectors OR a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years’ experience OR a PhD and 2 years’ experience.

Preferred Qualifications entail:

  • BA/BS/RN with a minimum of 9 years’ experience, or MA/MS/PharmD with 7 years’ experience in similar roles within major pharmaceutical entities.
  • Proven leadership capacity is strongly preferred.
  • Profound understanding of the dynamics between payers, providers, and pharmaceutical organizations as it relates to reimbursement processes.
  • Familiarity with the pharmacy benefit landscape and reimbursement pathways, particularly regarding commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacies and a willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $153,935 to $199,210. The specific salary will be determined based on various factors including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Additionally, the position may be eligible for
