Job Responsibilities

The Senior Migration Architect will play an essential role within the Professional Services group at Veeva, working directly with project teams tasked with implementing Veeva Vault R&D applications and Vault Platform cloud solutions.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

• Providing subject matter expertise for Vault R&D migration implementations.
• Advising customers on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes relevant to data migration.

• Mentoring and guiding Veeva Data Migration Specialists on effective migration practices and strategies.

• Contributing to the Professional Services knowledge base to help develop the company's migration program.

• Assisting in project scoping estimates for the Vault R&D product suite.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates interested in applying for this position should meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in document/content migration with enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, and SharePoint.
• At least 7 years of experience in database migration involving enterprise software systems, including SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, and others.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical consulting role for a minimum of 7 years, showcasing a strong track record of engaging effectively with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert.
• Experience leading and mentoring team members is a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML is essential.
• Travel is required for this position, ideally no more than 10% of the work time.

Compensation and Benefits
