Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Migration Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Providing subject matter expertise in Vault R&D migration implementation, focusing on migrating document content and object data from various legacy systems.
• Advising clients on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Mentoring Veeva Data Migration Specialists in migration activities and best practices, leveraging your extensive experience.
• Contributing to the Professional Services knowledge base to develop a robust migration program.
• Providing guidance for migration tool development used in the ETL processes.
• Assisting in estimating project scopes for the Vault R&D product suite.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in document/content migration with enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, or SharePoint.
• 7+ years of experience in database migration utilizing enterprise software systems like SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and others.
• A proven track record of direct, customer-facing technical consulting experience.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in meetings with senior management and executives.
• Experience in leading and mentoring fellow team members is essential.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML is necessary.
• The ability to travel up to 10% of the time may be required.
• Candidates must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.

Nice to Have Skills

While not mandatory, additional preferred qualifications include:

• Experience within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
• Knowledge of Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes.

Compensation and Benefits

Veeva offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with a base salary ranging from $90,000 to $185,000 CAD.
