The responsibilities associated with the Senior Migration Consultant position include:
Providing subject matter expertise on Vault R&D migration implementations, focusing on migrating document content and object data from legacy systems to Vault.
Advising clients on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process.
Mentoring Veeva Data Migration Specialists in migration activities and best practices.
Contributing to a Professional Services knowledge base to develop an effective migration program.
Offering guidance on migration tool development in the ETL process.
Assisting in project scoping estimates for the Vault R&D product suite.
To be eligible for this role, applicants need to possess the following skills and experience:
7+ years of experience in document/content migration using enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, SharePoint, etc.
7+ years of experience in database migration involving enterprise software systems like SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Trackwise, Argus, ArisGlobal, etc.
At least 7 years of customer-facing technical consulting experience.
Proven ability to engage with executive management as a subject matter expert.
Experience in leading and mentoring team members.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
A willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.
Moreover, candidates should be situated in Canada or the United States and legally authorized for employment in these areas.
Additional skills that would be advantageous include:
Experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
Knowledge of Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes.
Experience in Project Management of enterprise software implementations.

For this full-time role, Veeva Systems is offering a competitive compensation structure ranging between $90,000 and $185,000. This salary range aims to comply with local laws and regulations, with the understanding that actual salaries may vary depending on experience and geographic location.
