Automate features in collaboration with the automation group to improve regression coverage.
Triage and assist in managing automation results.
Develop deep expertise in Veeva's products.
Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes against established timelines.
Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers within an Agile team environment.
Drive technical discussions during design/implementation reviews.
Offer technical leadership to junior teammates to help them achieve their goals.
Conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts) and make recommendations that could elevate the quality of the project.
Enhance familiarity with code coverage tools and metrics.
Work with QA management to formulate and implement new processes across the organization.
Become both a technical contributor and a product expert, assisting your QA manager with various projects.
To qualify for the Senior Quality Engineer position, candidates should possess:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience in coding with Java and/or mobile programming languages.
A solid understanding of Software QA methodologies and tools, particularly in automated testing in environments with short release cycles.
Experience in writing and automating test cases covering various testing aspects such as boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests is crucial.
Relevant work experience that includes Software Development and/or Software Test Automation.
Curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies quickly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in leadership/mentorship, which can aid professional growth.
Candidates with the following skills will be highly favored:
Experience in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
Familiarity with testing platforms such as Cypress and experience with SQL.
Background working with Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence.
Experience with functional test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, or TestNG.
Knowledge of modern best practices in software development.
Experience in a SaaS environment that employs an Agile development process.
Previous experience working in Health Sciences and Life Sciences, particularly in Mobile Testing and Automation using Appium, XCUI, or Espresso.
The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $165,000 CAD, aligning with local regulations, and is influenced by factors such as experience and location. In addition to base salary, there are opportunities for other forms of compensation, including potential bonuses and stock options.
