In this role, the Senior SEM Coach will be responsible for:
Working closely with energy teams to identify, evaluate, and implement energy efficiency initiatives.
Providing guidance through both group workshops and one-on-one coaching to support clients in improving their energy management practices.
Motivating and coaching plant and facility management, guiding the development of continuous improvement plans.
Facilitating training workshops and mentoring junior coaches.
Analyzing performance of industrial processes, utilizing monitoring equipment and statistical analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Writing reports suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Assisting in site walk-throughs to uncover potential energy savings opportunities.
Developing site improvement plans that align with energy management goals.
Candidates for the Senior SEM Coach position should possess:
6+ years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or utility programs.
Direct experience in energy efficiency within commercial, industrial, or institutional settings.
A background in coaching, team facilitation, or change management, as well as post-secondary education in fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
Certification as a Certified Energy Manager and/or a CVMP designation is a strong asset for applicants.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, along with strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $51 - $53 CAD, with a complete compensation range of $40.50 - $67.42 CAD. The wages are determined based on various factors including internal equity, applicant skills, relevant experience, and any degrees or certifications.
