Role Description

In this role, the engineer will be pivotal in architecting and building the backend systems from the ground up, working with technologies such as Java/Spring, Kotlin, AWS, Lambda, Postgres, NoSQL, and Kafka. Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build Java/Kotlin microservices following an API-first approach.

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with commitment and dedication.

Required Skills

Candidates must have:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering.

• Over 3 years of experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in modeling data with both relational and non-relational databases.
• A strong orientation towards customer satisfaction and ownership in problem-solving.

Preferred Skills

Although not mandatory, the following traits and experiences are beneficial:

• 3+ years working with enterprise software, specifically in areas such as billing, CPQ, or finance.
• Experience in deploying a GraphQL API to production.
• Background knowledge in JavaScript/React and how modern front-end applications interact with APIs.
• Experience working in remote teams on complex projects.
