Support Sales and Marketing activities including product trials, demos, site inspections, and exhibitions to build Hach's reputation as a manufacturer with robust technical and service support.
Contribute strategically to build Hach's services as a differentiator and a value-added profit center rather than a cost center.
Practice and promote Danaher Business System (DBS) tools to maintain effective service processes.
The ideal candidate for the Service Engineer position will ideally possess the following:
Experience: 5-8 years in servicing analytical instruments similar to Hach or equivalent brands.
Educational Background: A diploma or preferably a degree in electronics, electrical, chemistry, or chemical engineering, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge: Should be familiar with key stakeholders at customer sites in the designated territory. They should also have a deep understanding of unit operations across various industries like Power, Oil & Gas, Food and Beverage, Chemical Processing, and Pulp and Paper.
Learning Ability: An eagerness to learn quickly and the capacity to adapt to changes and new technologies.
Customer Interaction: Strong customer service and interaction skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time across Indonesia at short notice.
