As a UI/UX Designer at SlideSpeak, candidates will contribute significantly to a fast-growing startup environment. Within this role, you will be part of a team of seven, closely collaborating with engineers and the company's founder, playing a pivotal role in the evolution of the product.
Responsibilities will include designing intuitive AI-driven features, engaging with customers, conducting user interviews to gain insights, identifying and addressing UX shortcomings through customer support feedback, and analyzing usage data to inform product improvements. Furthermore, the role involves identifying user personas, testing, iterating features, and ensuring high levels of feature adoption and user satisfaction. Maintaining the design system, handing off to the engineering team, and assisting in customer onboarding and support are integral aspects of this position.
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience with Figma, prototyping, and maintaining design systems. Experience in conducting user interviews and working on SaaS products is crucial. Candidates should also have proficiency in prepping work for engineering teams, strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate working with both customers and engineering teams, and a proactive problem-solving mindset that enables independent work. The role requires the ability to manage multiple project elements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
