In the AI Product Developer role, the candidate is expected to:
Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and agents geared toward sales, marketing, and revenue operations.
Build custom AI tools that integrate seamlessly with HubSpot, sales development representative (SDR) systems, and other SaaS technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and deliver solutions that focus on client needs.
Develop APIs, connectors, and integrations to facilitate easy adoption of AI tools within client environments.
Prototype, test, and iterate on new AI-driven features.
Stay updated with current AI technologies, such as large language models and automation frameworks, advising on practical and beneficial use cases.

Candidates interested in this role must have:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or an equivalent set of experiences.
3+ years of professional experience in software development.
Strong programming skills, preferably in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks and APIs like OpenAI, LangChain, or Hugging Face.
A good understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) along with various sales and marketing automation tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to ensure effective collaboration within teams.
Experience in developing small-scale applications and SaaS tools or integrations.
Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, or vector databases for RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) implementations is a plus.
Some experience with building conversational bots or AI agents is beneficial.
Knowledgeable about the Model Context Protocol.
This position is entirely remote, but candidates should be comfortable working in the PST or CST time zones. Fluency in English is a must, and precise communication is highly valued. The role requires a strong degree of independence and initiative as candidates will work primarily from home.
The application involves a rigorous interview process that includes:
A preliminary video interaction with Softlab Solutions for about 10 minutes.
A second round focusing on technical assessment with the client's HR Head and Project Manager, lasting anywhere from 40 to 50 minutes.
If successful, candidates will be required to complete a practical project to demonstrate their skills within a time frame of 60 to 90 minutes.
