Successful applicants will be tasked with several key responsibilities:

• Supporting the design, development, and implementation of IAM solutions for the FICO Platform.
• Integrating IAM platforms with enterprise and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to adopt and implement authentication and authorization standards such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT.
• Maintaining and enhancing IAM policies, procedures, and lifecycle management processes.
• Participating in troubleshooting and performance tuning across identity services, and engaging in architectural discussions and future planning for IAM capabilities.
• Working alongside senior engineers for hands-on development experience.

Required Skills

FICO is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Spring frameworks, along with building cloud-native platforms.
• A foundational understanding of authentication concepts (SAML, JWT, OAuth 2.0, OIDC) or a strong willingness to learn more about them.
• Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, or OpenAM/OpenDJ is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of LDAP and directory concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot and debug in the cloud.
• Some scripting experience in languages such as Shell, Python, or Groovy.
• Eagerness to integrate IAM solutions with SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• A general understanding of security principles with an interest in deepening that knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset are also highly desired.

Salary

The targeted base salary range for this role is between $87,000 and $136,000, reflecting various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
