The Solutions Architect will have a hybrid-friendly work arrangement, with remote options, but is preferably based in or near the Greater London Area of the United Kingdom. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to influence clients’ technical outcomes significantly.
The primary responsibilities of the Solutions Architect include:
Leading implementation projects for CRM, CDP, and/or Marketing Automation systems, documenting and planning throughout the process and crafting requirements for actual code implementation.
Identifying opportunities and providing technology-based solutions to business challenges, including recommending tools to maximize value from existing resources and designing complete MarTech stacks from scratch.
Collaborating with the internal technical team to provide clear specifications and requirements, ensuring project success.
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during sales presentations and meetings, articulating deliverables, ideas, and best practices effectively.
Offering support for marketing analytics and reporting, understanding user journeys, customer data, and marketing automation is essential.
Leading various projects related to multi-tool MarTech implementations and crafting new marketing programs by translating the necessary technical requirements to data flows.
Examples of the types of projects involve optimizing existing lifecycle programs, ensuring data schema parity during migrations, and creating strategies for enhanced personalized messaging based on data activation frameworks.
The ideal candidate for the Solutions Architect position should possess the following skills:
Experience with determining cross-platform technical requirements in the MarTech stack.
Familiarity with CDPs such as Segment, Rudderstack, mParticle, or Tealium.
Proficiency in configuring automated campaigns using tools like Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of multi/omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging.
Technical expertise in data modeling best practices including strong JSON or SQL capabilities.
Knowledge of data activation using reverse ETL tools like Hightouch or Census.
Excellent organizational skills, strong written communication, and the ability to present complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences are crucial.
Experience with platforms like Shopify or Magento is beneficial, alongside a friendly demeanor suitable for teamwork.
