As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales process and customer engagement by:
Technical Qualification & Discovery: Collaborate with the Account Executive to evaluate customer needs regarding Kubernetes challenges and cost objectives.
Technical Validation & POC Leadership: Guide the technical validation phase of Proof of Concepts, ensuring successful outcomes that align with customer expectations.
Platform Demonstrations: Create and deliver tailored demonstrations of the PerfectScale platform, addressing customer-specific scenarios and concerns.
Business Case & ROI Development: Utilize analytical skills to craft compelling business cases showcasing the cost savings and performance enhancements achievable with PerfectScale.
Technical Win Ownership: Lead the technical side of sales engagements, ensuring customer satisfaction and confident adoption of the PerfectScale solution.
Event & Conference Presentations: Represent DoiT and PerfectScale at various events, demonstrating product capabilities and promoting expertise in Kubernetes optimization.
Accurate Documentation: Maintain meticulous records in internal systems to track performance and outcomes adequately.
The successful candidate will possess:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role, particularly in B2B SaaS environments.
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes across various platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) and corresponding DevOps best practices.
Proficient in using data analysis tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to extract actionable insights from complex data sets.
Strong communication skills, capable of explaining intricate Kubernetes concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
A proven history of effectively engaging with executive-level stakeholders and crafting compelling ROI propositions.
Experience in competitive sales environments, understanding technical selling procedures, and contributing to the trial, demo, and RFP processes.
Previous experience in positions such as Kubernetes DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer is an advantage.
