About the Role

The role of Technical Program Manager at DEPT® is tailored for individuals who exhibit a strategic mindset and organizational prowess. This position demands a strong background in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, with emphasis on client and business-related projects. The primary focus is on innovative email projects, while also supporting the agency's data science and analytics team.

Technical Program Managers at DEPT® work on complex, cross-functional projects requiring collaboration with Engineering, Data Science, Product, UX, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, possessing expertise in project management methodologies, and a passion for operational efficiency and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Create and manage project plans based on business requirements.
  • Work closely with engineers and data scientists to understand technical needs.
  • Translate technical requirements into a well-structured execution plan.
  • Handle day-to-day project management tasks effectively.
  • Manage a variety of stakeholders, preferably with data and Gamma experience.

Candidate Qualifications

The role requires:



  • A minimum of 3 years in project management, leading cross-functional programs.
  • Technical expertise in SDLC methodologies and practical application.
  • Proficiency in managing technical and data projects.
  • Familiarity with Data Analytics tools and SQL.
  • Experience with Gamma, Marketo, or similar email systems.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • The ability to distill complex issues and communicate them to diverse audiences.
