Key Responsibilities

The mission of the Technical Analyst encompasses a wide array of responsibilities:

  • Support the technical roadmap for Tier 1 projects, encompassing the development, testing, and maintenance of targeting and measurement solutions.

  • Collaborate with teams across Product, Revenue, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Data Science to design, execute, and iterate on performance and measurement initiatives.

  • Troubleshoot any technical issues related to reporting discrepancies and data pipeline bugs. Perform in-depth analysis of datasets, collaborating with technical teams to discern root issues and establish resolution paths.

  • Assist in designing and executing experiments which validate hypotheses aimed at driving measurable improvements in marketing performance.

  • Contribute to analytics proof-of-concepts (POCs) with strategic clients; test and validate custom use cases that lead to productization.

  • Track performance OKRs (objectives and key results) such as data QA benchmarks and measurement accuracy; communicate impact to internal stakeholders effectively.

  • Provide hands-on support with various operational tasks, including campaign reporting, measurement setup, ad-hoc data analysis, and market & competitor research.

Required Skills

The job requires a cultivated set of skills:

  • Experience: Candidates should possess 1-2 years of experience in Consulting, Product Management, Business Analysis, or Strategy & Operations specifically within an analytics role. Familiarity with marketing or advertising systems, though beneficial, is not a prerequisite.

  • Technical Proficiency: Applicants are expected to have a strong working knowledge of Python and its data analytics libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
