Job Description: Staff AI Builder (AI Native Mobile Engineer)

The role of Staff AI Builder (AI Native Mobile Engineer) at Life360 is focused on transforming the organization into an AI-native company. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Transform initial concepts, ranging from sketches to audio notes, into functioning prototypes promptly, often within the same day.
• Develop prototypes that enhance user experience through intuitive design elements such as maps, widgets, and other product surfaces.
• Maintain close collaboration with design and product teams, actively participating in the creative process rather than merely executing pre-defined tasks.
• Implement a rapid feedback loop by shipping products to test groups, gathering user feedback, and iterating quickly on designs.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess several key skills and experiences, including:

• Self-starter energy: The ability to work independently, carve out your own initiatives, and be a co-founder of technology projects.
• Experience building consumer mobile or web products, with a strong understanding of user experiences on mobile devices.
• Familiarity with at least one of the following technologies: React, Swift, or Kotlin, with a willingness to work in another if necessary.
• Deep understanding of AI tools and workflows, including agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and utilizing AI for testing and code generation.
• Experience in zero-to-one startup environments, with a desire to contribute to the early stages of product development.
• A strong aesthetic sense, enabling good judgement regarding UI designs and user interactions.

Salary and Benefits
