Leading and managing a team that typically comprises 3 to 5 engineers while also contributing hands-on as a Staff Software Engineer.

Owning and overseeing the technical architecture and implementation of Boulevard's Commerce platform.
Establishing and monitoring system health metrics, and implementing strategies to meet or exceed set targets.
Championing the upkeep of a secure and efficient codebase while addressing technical debt proactively.
Participating in an on-call rotation as the Incident Commander, leading incident responses when issues arise.
Candidates must possess the following qualifications to thrive in this role:
A solid track record in building and maintaining eCommerce and accounting products.
Proven experience in shipping complex, high-impact, user-facing initiatives.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, with familiarity in Elixir being a bonus.
Solid Computer Science foundations that enable sound decisions regarding design, implementation, and operational viability.
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audience segments.
Ability to collaborate deeply with counterparts in product, design, and marketing.
Ownership of large projects and roadmaps through effective partnership with stakeholders.
A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to set long-term strategies, along with delivering immediate value.
