Key Responsibilities

Technical Training & Competency Management

  • Direct the Technical Training Team, including remote training staff and administration.
  • Ensure comprehensive oversight of the Licence to Train program and all technical training throughout the business.
  • Align training content with relevant regulatory, food safety, and company requirements.
  • Manage the annual training calendar to ensure it remains effective and relevant.
  • Review existing training courses to either enhance them or remove those that no longer provide value.
  • Function as an escalation point for candidate issues and assessments, as well as liaising with external training providers and awarding bodies to foster program development.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in:

  • Supplier assurance and auditing within the food manufacturing sector or a regulated supply chain.
  • A well-versed understanding of food safety and quality systems, along with risk management of labor provisions.
