Translating technical drawings and renders into clear documentation, incorporating supporting diagrams for better understanding.
Extrapolating missing details logically, such as sequence, positioning, and cutouts, while flagging any uncertainties to avoid unsafe assumptions.
Reviewing and cross-checking multiple data points to create complete and accurate outputs.
Documenting kit contents, required tools, vehicle preparation, installation sequence, torque values, and the final checks necessary for installation.
Delivering final files in both Word and PDF formats to ensure accessibility and usability.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of technical writing experience is essential to ensure the ability to produce high-quality documentation.
Experience with technical drawing and image editing, particularly proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop for line design and image preparation, is crucial (this is a minimum requirement).
Familiarity with other vector/illustration tools such as Inkscape, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD LT, or SolidWorks Composer will be regarded highly.
Comfortable using AI tools to streamline tasks related to writing, formatting, or illustration.
Strong skills in MS Word and the ability to export documents to PDF.
Exposure to the automotive industry is advantageous, although not mandatory.
