Role Overview

The Technical Writer position involves creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that enables users to effectively use the Limble platform. This includes writing user guides, help center documentation, and collaborating with various teams to deliver accurate and user-friendly documentation. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that are crucial to the success of the user experience:

  • Create, update, and maintain documentation including help center content, user guides, API documentation, and release notes.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure technical accuracy and to address users' needs in the documentation.

  • Assist in maintaining the structure and content of documentation, ensuring it is easy to use and consistently styled.

  • Edit and revise existing documentation based on product updates and customer feedback to ensure information remains relevant and clear.

  • Participate in documentation reviews with peers and senior writers to uphold consistency and quality standards.

  • Support the creation of user-facing UX copy to align content with product goals, ensuring clarity and conciseness.

  • Incorporate feedback from customer-facing teams to identify and address user knowledge gaps.

  • Aid in video content creation by assisting the Senior Technical Writer with scripting and reviewing content for technical accuracy.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • 1-3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field, preferably in the software or technology sector.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.
  • Self-starter with the capability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Experience in creating content tailored for various audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, with a dedication to ensuring consistency in copy.
  • A strong passion for learning to understand the product thoroughly.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)



  • Prior experience as a technical writer in a SaaS or software development environment.
  • Proficiency in using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with help center platforms like Intercom.
  • Willingness to appear on camera for video demos and basic experience in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

Salary and Benefits
