Job Responsibilities

  • Introduction to network technology (network topologies, network components, coupling devices, protocols, OSI layer models).

  • Setting up an IT workstation (hardware and software).
  • Planning, executing, testing, and deploying software projects.
  • Teaching current server and client operating systems like Windows and Linux.
  • Educating on web development utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Guiding the development and design of databases with SQL.
  • Familiarizing students with programming foundations including UML class diagrams, use-case diagrams, EPKs, Nassi-Shneiderman diagrams, program flowcharts, and pseudocode programming with Python.
  • Instructing on object-oriented programming using Java.
  • Covering topics in IT security, including attack types, firewalls, DMZs, encryption, VPN, and virus protection/removal.
  • Discussing data protection (GDPR) and data security principles.
